Chelsea smashed the British transfer record yesterday signing Liverpool´s Fernando Torres for £50 million. He becomes their only current Spanish player and only their 4th ever. But who have been the others?

Asier Del Horno 2005–2006 |
Signed from Athletic Bilbao in the summer of 2005, Del Horno never really settled at the Bridge and returned to Spain the following summer.
Honours: 2005 Community Shield, 2005–2006 Premier League.

Enrique De Lucas 2002–2003 |
´Quique´ De Lucas signed on a free transfer from PSG in 2002, a winger who lacked pace and failed to impress, scoring just the one goal. Returned to Spain with Alavés. Honours: None
|
Albert Ferrer 1998–2003 |
The most memorable Spaniard to play for Chelsea. For starters he lasted more than one season. Signed in 1998 from Barcelona where he had played his whole career. He went onto play 113 times for Chelsea, retiring from football in 2003.
Honours: 2002 FA Cup
